The materials you will need to make an egg carton caterpillar are scissors, egg carton, pipe cleaner and markers. To start, you will need to cut about 4, 5 or 6 pieces of the egg shell from the egg carton depending on how long you want your caterpillar to be. Then with your scissors you will make two holes for the antennas. Now cut two pieces of the pipe cleaner and then poke them through the hole. You will need to bend them over a little bit so they will stay. Now you can use the markers to make some eyes and a mouth and decorate your caterpillar however you like.
