To make a clothespin grasshopper you will start with a spring loaded clothespin and paint it green. You can use either temper paint or acrylic paint. Once it is painted and dry you are going to add on the legs, the eyes and the antenna. To make the legs you are going to cut two pieces of craft wire making sure they are about the same length. You will then glue one on each side of your clothespin at the bottom. Once the glue has dries you want to bend the wires to make them look more like grasshopper legs. Just take it and bend it upward and then down at the back. After that is done you will need to give it some eyes. So you will just put two dots of glue and stick on your wiggly eyes. The last thing you will need to do is give your grasshopper a couple of antennas. To do this you will just use some straight pins, and you just stick them right inside the wood.
