To make a Chinese doll with a clothespin, first you need to take your flat slotted clothespin and lay it in front of you. Now you are going to take a tiny wood stick and cut it in half to make the arms. Then you are going to glue one on either side of the clothespin for the arms. Next you need to take some red yarn, now put a dot of glue on the back of the clothespin and to fix one end of the yarn there. You are going to make the dress by wrapping it around. Start to go all the way around and slightly above the arms and then you will need to start going underneath the arms for the rest of the dress. Once you have wrapped all the way down to the bottom, you need to put another dot of glue on the back to attach the end piece of yarn.

Next you can add a decoration to the dress using gold cord. Take the gold cord and tie a knot both ends. Do this twice so that you have two knotted pieces. Then you will glue these to the front of the dress. Next take the black yarn, hold it in your hands and loop it back and forth several times and then tie another piece around the middle. Then you will cut the loops at either end to make the hair. Then you just glue the hair to the top of the head and squish it down. You can then use a black marker to make the eyes of your doll.
