To make a butterly necklace with clothespins the first thing you are going to do is take a spring loaded clothespin and paint it black or brown. Once it has dried you will need to add the wings. To do this you need to take three square pieces of tissue paper, any color you like. You will need to fold each one like a fan, back and forth like an accordian. Now you will need to stick them together end to end or side to side in a pattern. Now take a small piece of pipe cleaner and wrap it around the center of the folded tissue papers. Once you have done that, open up your clothespin and stick the tissue wings down inside, then fan out your folded tissue paper to make the wings. Now just work with them untill they look like you want them to.

Next you will need to add an antenna. For this, take a small piece of pipe cleaner, again open up your clothespin and stick it in that first open slot. You will need to add a little bit of glue to hold it in place. Once the glue has dried, you just bend your antennas so that they look more like antennas. Next you'll want to add the wiggly eyes. You will just glue them on top. Next just add a piece of yarn for the necklace and tie a knot in the two ends.
