This video will show you how to properly hold and throw a yo-yo. To start you will need to hold the yo-yo in your dominate hand. So if you are right handed you will hold the yo-yo in your right hand. The string will go around your middle finger in between your knuckle and your fingernail just like so. Hold the yo-yo in your hand with your palm up up. Now, to throw extend your arm all the way out and straight. Now raise your forearm and bring it up right next to your ear. Just like when you make a muscle. When you throw, you're going to bring your hand down. Then you will release the yo-yomaking sure the yo-yo shoots straight over the top of your fingers. Immediately turn your hand over and bounce it back up. This is called the gravity pull. |
