Once you have everything you need ready you will need to follow the directions on the dye. Heat the water to the temperature stated in the directions on your particular dye. When the water is hot enough, you will slowly pour the water into the containers. Remember the amount of water depends on the dyes that you are using. Make sure that you do not wear any clothes that you don’t want to get stains on. Add the powder to the water and mix thoroughly using your stick or whatever you have chosen to mix the dye with. You will need to add one tablespoon of salt per container.
