Today you will learn how to tune up your bicycle. This should be done at least once per year or even every few months if you ride every day. This video gives you a general guide to basic tune up procedures. You will need dish soap, water, rags, chain oil and a light lubricant, air pump, tire pressure gauge, a set of metric Allen wrenches, open end wrenches, cone wrenches, head set wrenches, spoke wrenche, and a chair wear indicator and a repair stand or rope to elevate your bike. After watching and performing the steps, make sure you test drive your bike thoroughly, changing through all gears and test your brakes. Most of the time you will have to make some minor adjustments before you are fully ready to ride. |
