You are going to form a dome toad home donut by starting out with a ball in the center of your pottery wheel.  Then you will want to put that ball on your wheel head and stabilize yourself so that you will not move.  Get your sponge pretty wet, but not dripping and get your left hand stable.  Take your right hand and move it against your left hand, trying not to move the left hand as much as possible. Make your right hand into a fist and push down.  You are going to open this all the way to the bat, and clean off he bat with a rib.  Pull this out to a doughnut about as wide as you want the base of your toad home to be.  Clean your wheel head one more time and prepare to start pulling it up.
