If over time you have noticed that your toilet has reduced it's flushing power there is probably a very simple solution to this problem. The holes on the underside of the toilet bowl can very often become clogged with deposits. So what you want to do is use is a little handheld mirror, you can even use a little dental mirror to look and see. Whatever you choose to use, it is best for that to be the only thing you use it for.

Once you detect a hole that has some buildup that’s preventing it from flowing properly, you can just cut a piece of wire coat hanger and run it up in the hole and clear out any obstructions that you might find. Once you do this all around the edge, you should see an improvement.
