Do’s and Don’ts of Blogging
Do’s –
Firstly, start out by researching other blogs. Find out what other blogs are doing and what tactics and messages they are using. Your blog is the discussion about what you have to offer and is a way to reach out to reach out to your public.
A good RSS feed makes a major difference in blogging. Using a good RSS feed that is nice and universal for all readers should be a primary focus. Take the time to make sure that are more than just text, something that is good looking and catches the readers eye.
Don’ts –
Do not spend a lot of time talking about pricing and don’t spend a lot of time giving out ads in your blog. Remember the main focus of your blog should be to discuss your products, services and your business. This is not the place to use your sales pitch, make your blog nonintrusive.
Your blog is a place for discussion and most readers do not want to feel that they are being pushed into purchasing your products or services. Use the blog as a way to connect with your readers and inform them of your company, products or services.
